During Earth Month in Spring 2024, the Enviro Art Gallery featured a variety of media and forms created by Nicholas School students and the broader Duke community including photography, sketching, painting, and writing. This marked the eighth year for the annual gallery. This year’s theme, “Duke Nature,” highlighted themes of the interconnectedness of Duke University with its natural spaces.
Art was displayed in a number of locations across campus during the spring, including at the Fuqua School of Business during the Blue Economy Summit on March 29; in Grainger Hall from April 6-27; in the Louise Jones Brown Gallery in the Bryan Center during April; and at the Duke Nature Festival in the Sarah P. Duke Gardens on April 28. Additionally, a reception with the artists was held to honor their work and contributions across the environmental movement through art.
