In partnership with the Office of Undergraduate Education, the Office of Climate and Sustainability hosted a 4-day intensive Spring Breakthrough program for 11 students to engage directly with examples of how sustainability and climate action are threaded across Duke’s mission and commitments. Students broadened their sustainability and climate knowledge and reflected on how they can contribute to a more sustainable future and healthier climate through their personal interests at Duke and beyond. Activities took place at Duke Forest, Duke Campus Farm, Sarah P. Duke Gardens and various sustainability related venues in downtown Durham.
