On November 1, 2024, Duke Kunshan University (DKU) hosted the Duke International Forum under the theme “Renovating Climate Policy and Green Finance for Future Sustainability.” The forum, jointly organized each year by DKU and Duke, addresses pressing global development challenges and provides a platform for open exchanges among stakeholders working toward innovative solutions and research collaborations. At the 2024 forum, academics, policymakers, entrepreneurs and investors gathered to promote a multi-stakeholder approach to addressing climate challenges. Leaders from both Duke and DKU expressed strong support for continued collaboration in sustainability research, building on existing partnerships across three pillars: renewable energy, climate finance and environmental justice, as well as in education, operations and external engagement.
