Each spring, during the two-week period of move-out, Student Affairs Facility Planning and Operations and Student Affairs Sustainability partners with TROSA and Goodwill to accept donations of clothes, shoes, furniture, appliances and many other vital resources. Items students contribute during this period are redistributed to the local community through the partner organizations. This spring, a total of 58,679 lbs of items were donated to partners.

- Goodwill – East Campus
- TROSA – West Campus, Blue Light, 300 Swift, 301 Swift, Lancaster
- Devil’s Thrift House – Smart Home
Donation totals this spring:
East Campus – 10,579 lbs
West and Off Campus – 43,440 lbs
Lancaster – 4,660 lbs
Total: 58,679 lbs / 29 tons
Future goals are to increase this effort, including: the number of days partner organizations are on campus to collect donations; the number of collection boxes; communication efforts to students on and off campus about donation opportunities; and the number of point persons to assist partner organizations with access to collection areas.
