During Spring semester 2024, the Education Integration Subcommittee undertook work to redefine what climate and sustainability fluency looks like across Duke University. With input from faculty, staff, and students, the updated Climate and Sustainability Fluency Framework articulates the principles of climate change, including its context, causes, and consequences, and the catalysts for positive change toward more just futures, that will form the foundation for all climate and sustainability education at Duke.
